Instant Bids, Pickup, Titles, and Payment

This FAQ answers how Nationwide Remarketing dba CarBidNow buys cars: Instant Bid, pickup in all 50 U.S. states, titles and liens, inoperable vehicles, and payment by check at the truck.

We buy vehicles that roll and have a transferable title, or a title we can help complete when eligible. Clean, salvage, and rebuilt titles are OK when paperwork transfers. Pickup is typically 24 to 48 hours after the sale is arranged—not a same-day guarantee.

Who is CarBidNow?

CarBidNow is the consumer brand of Nationwide Remarketing, a vehicle remarketing company. We purchase eligible vehicles from sellers, arrange tow pickup, and pay with a check at the appointment. We are not a private-party listing site and not a dealership trade-in desk.

Where do you pick up?

We arrange pickup in all 50 U.S. states. You do not have to drive the car to a lot. After you accept the Instant Bid, dispatch works with a tow provider near you. Timing depends on your location and the nearest provider—typically 24 to 48 hours, not same-day service everywhere.

Apartment lots, driveways, and many storage yards are fine when the tow truck can reach the vehicle. Share gate codes, tow-away rules, or access limits when dispatch calls.

How do you price my vehicle?

The automatic Instant Bid uses your vehicle details and condition. The price is guaranteed based on whether the vehicle starts, runs, and drives versus being inoperable, plus the title type and VIN you enter.

Be accurate. If the car will not start, mark it inoperable. A wrong condition is the usual reason the number can change at the truck. We do not invent published dollar ranges—get your own Instant Bid at #offer. More: how cash-for-car buyers price cars.

What vehicles do you buy?

We buy cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans that roll and have a transferable title, or a title path we can help complete when eligible. Running and inoperable vehicles both qualify when those rules are met. Vehicles that cannot be rolled for transport are a different situation—call 1-877-669-2431. If insurance did not total your car, see sell a non-total-loss car.

Do you buy salvage or rebuilt titles?

Yes. Clean, salvage, and rebuilt titles are OK when the vehicle and paperwork are eligible and the title can transfer. Mark the correct title type in Instant Bid. Do not mark salvage as clean. See sell a salvage title car.

Can you help with my title?

We can help with titles when eligible. Tell us about your title situation so we can explain next steps before pickup. We do not promise a purchase with no path to a transferable title. If you have no title and no way to get one, call 1-877-669-2431 before you accept. See Title help.

What if I have no title or a lost title?

A lost title is not automatically a dead sale, but you generally need a duplicate or replacement path or another eligible paperwork path. Do not schedule pickup as if the title will appear on its own. Call 1-877-669-2431 and describe the state and ownership names. If the title is in someone else’s name, the legal owner usually has to be involved.

Can you help pay off a lien?

Yes. We can help with paying off eligible liens and explain the payoff steps before pickup. Do not assume the full Instant Bid is a check made out to you until that split is explained.

• Lender or lienholder name and where the title sits
• Whether the bid may cover the payoff or leave a remaining amount
• What documents and signatures are required
• That payment at the truck follows the explained split

Do you buy cars that do not run?

Yes. Mark the vehicle inoperable in Instant Bid. The guaranteed price applies to that condition. The car still has to roll for tow transport, and the title must be transferable or on an eligible help path. A dead battery, blown engine, or bad transmission does not automatically disqualify it. How soon can you pick up?

Pickup is typically completed within 24 to 48 hours after the sale is arranged. It is not a same-day guarantee. Have keys, title documents, and a reachable phone ready.

How do I get paid?

The tow driver delivers a check at pickup, made out for the agreed price when the vehicle matches what you entered. Payment is not cash in hand as the default. If there is an eligible lien, the check may follow the payoff split explained before the truck arrives.

Is there a fee?

No. There is no fee to receive an Instant Bid or arrange an eligible vehicle pickup under the standard purchase path. Confirm any special title or lien logistics when we explain your case.

What if the car’s condition does not match at the truck?

Instant Bid is guaranteed when the car matches what you entered, including running versus inoperable, title type, and VIN. If it does not match—for example, it was reported as running but will not start—the number can change. Enter the car as it sits. See How it works.

What if a pickup or title issue comes up?

Should I sell my car or donate it?

If you need cash for the vehicle, get a CarBidNow Instant Bid.
