Non-Total-Loss Cars
A non-total-loss (NTL) car is one your insurer did not declare a total loss. The car is still in the repair path—often at a body shop—while you decide what to do next. Nationwide Remarketing dba CarBidNow buys eligible NTL vehicles as-is when the car rolls and the title can transfer. Get an Instant Bid from your VIN, whether it runs or is inoperable, and your title type. That number is our purchase price, not an insurance estimate.
What we do on an eligible NTL deal
When the deal is eligible, CS runs the NTL path so the car can leave the shop:
- Pay deductible and teardown to the body shop so the car can be released
- Handle title path
- Schedule pickup (typically 24–48 hours after acceptance)
- Eligible lien payoff help
Purchase pay = check at the truck. Lien payoff split explained before pickup if needed.
Your insurance claim stays between you and your carrier—we do not tell you to refuse the insurer or file the claim for you. On a typical eligible NTL path, you can keep the repair settlement from insurance AND sell the car to us for the Instant Bid. That stack is why the program works: sellers often end up at or above what a total-loss settlement would have paid. We do not invent dollar amounts; compare your adjuster’s numbers to the Instant Bid on your deal.

Instant Bid vs insurance estimate
Two different numbers that can both matter on eligible NTL: Instant Bid = our purchase price (VIN + runs vs inop + title); insurance = carrier repair settlement path. They are not the same check. Together, eligible sellers often land at or above a pure total-loss outcome—without us quoting your claim or telling you to fight the carrier. See how it works and our commitment.

Non-total-loss FAQ
What does non-total-loss mean here?
It means the insurer did not declare the car a total loss and it remains on a repair path. We may buy it as-is if it rolls and the title transfers.
Do you pay the deductible and teardown?
On eligible deals, yes. Eligibility is confirmed on the deal.
Is the Instant Bid the same as my insurance estimate?
No. They are two different checks. On eligible NTL deals they stack: keep the repair settlement and take our bid—often at or above a total-loss path.
How fast is pickup, and how do I get paid?
Pickup is typically 24–48 hours after acceptance. You receive a check at the truck; any lien split is explained before pickup.
What if there is still a lien or the title is messy?
Eligible lien and title help may be available. Call 1-877-669-2431 or see sell car with lien.
