So is there really a market for slow cars? We don’t know the answer to that question, but we do know which cars are the slowest according to their 0-60 mph test times. The following is a partial list of slowpoke cars.

Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0: 0 to 60 in 8.0 seconds

This car sports a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that has a 245 horsepower rating. It sure sounds fast, but compared to the standard engine package, the Sonata Sport only squeezes out a mere 0.4 seconds faster when going 0 to 60 mph.

Audi A3 TDI: 0 to 60 in 8.2 seconds

The Audi A3 TDI is a perfect example of a car that does it right as long as you’re not expecting to win drag races at stoplights. The Audi is powered by a fuel sipping diesel engine that provides great mpg to the tune of 43/31 for highway and city driving, respectively.

Lexus NX 300h AWD: 0 to 60 in 8.3 seconds

This hybrid has a turbo-four on board and has a 33/30 mpg for city and highway. It is a sporty little SUV and will make hauling kids and family a breeze.

Kia Soul Exclaim: 0 to 60 in 8.3 seconds

The Soul models from Kia have been a popular pick for drivers who want a car that is differently styled from the rest. The Soul Exclaim has a full list of features and a very solid ride that makes this an easy pick for a good everyday transportation car.

Chrysler 200C: 0 to 60 in 8.7 seconds

Chrysler’s 200C is the top model from its 200 series and has standard features that go above and beyond what is expected. In this model you’ll find amenities such as heated seats, dual climate control, and leather upholstery. But if speed is what you need, you should pass on this car.

Chevrolet Trax: 0 to 60 in 9.0 seconds

For anyone who is looking for a crossover car that is affordable without being weighed down by expensive extras, the Chevy Trax may be something to put on your list of things to check out. Despite its small 1.4-liter engine, it still manages a 9-second 0 to 60 time, which is only a bit slower than a much more expensive Audi A3 TDI.

Honda Fit EX-L: 0 to 60 in 9.1 seconds

For a “slow” car the Honda Fit EX-L is amazingly fun to drive. It is responsive and nimble and has tons of room inside. Although it’s not really fast, it looks sporty and fast. It is a very dependable car day in and day out.
